Personal Accident and Group Personal Accident policies are designed to compensate the insured against bodily injury, loss of limb or limbs, loss of eye or eyes, permanent total disablement, temporary total disablement, medical expenses and death.
In other words, if during the period of Insurance, the insured sustains bodily injury which independently of any other cause results in his / her death, temporary disablement or permanent disability, the Company agrees to pay the insured the benefit specified in the schedule of benefits under the policy.
